The John Buckley Sports Cork City 10 Miler 2018

We have reached or limit for the event. Entries will close tonight, Sunday the 26th of August at midnight.

The John Buckley Sports Cork City 10 Miler, is hosted by St Finbarrs AC.

The race takes place on Saturday the 8th of September 2018 at 6pm.

The race is open to runners, fun runners, joggers, and wheelchair athletes.

The start and finish takes place at Corks Marina, on the banks of the river Lee, and ajacent to Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

The course is flat, fast and picturesque, with the majority of the route on the banks of the Lee, and the shores of the Sea.

There is a prize fund of over €3,000, with all race categories included.

There is also a prize for best inter-firm team, with four people to score.

Race pacers will be in operation to help athletes to achieve PB`s.

Chip Timing is also used for our event.

There is a free bespoke  race long sleeve top for the first 1000 enteries.

There will complimentary tea, coffee, sandwiches and "cake" to indulge in afterwards while you discuss your race with friends!

Entries can be made online here, or in person at John Buckley Sports, Mulgrave road, Cork.

Our race headquarters is also located on the Marina adjacent to the start/finish area.

The John Buckley Sports Cork City 10 Miler is also a fundraiser for the infumous Cork Penny Dinners, which provides over 2,500 free meals weekly for Corks needy and homeless, 365 days a year. corkpennydinners.ie

With an Entry Fee of €25, which is fantastic value.
