Event Location/Meeting Point: GAA grounds Ballingeary.

The 8th annual Mick Dineen Cycle is a leisure cycle, consisting of two routes 100km and 130km through the picturesque scenery of West Cork and Kerry. The Mick Dineen Cycle leaves the Gaeltacht village of Ballingeary at 9:00am. It passes by the highest pub in Ireland, 'The Top of Coom', and passes through Kilgarvan on the way to Kenmare. After Kenmare, the 100km route heads over the Caha Pass on its way to Glengarriff, while the 130km route heads into the Beara Peninsula, over the Healy Pass into Adrigole and onto Glengarriff. It will then head for Ballylicky, over the Pass Of Céim an Fia and back to Ballingeary.

There will be food and refreshment stops in Kenmare, Glengarriff and at Árd na Laoi in Ballingeary Village; and full showering facilities. The cycle is fully supported with back-up vehicles and Red Cross. Helmets must be worn. You can register online or on the day - €10 fee for adults, U18's go free.
