The Bere Island Midsummer Run is a 5k and a 10k road race and a 5k walk around the scenic roads of Bere Island.
The Bere Island Mid Summer Run is a 5 and a 10 K road race and a 5K walk around the scenic roads of Bere Island, with views stretching from Whiddy Island to the USA.
Start Time:
- 5 km race starts at 1:00pm
- 10 km starts at 1:10pm
The Entry Fee:
- €20 for both the 5 km & 10 km races
- €5 for the Underage Fun Run (10 to 14 year olds) & Family Walk can be paid on the day of the event
The course is AAI licensed and measured with a Jones counter. Please note the race is not individually timed.
There will be after race entertainment etc. Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd, for Male & Female in both categories and also some senior categories. Come along and enjoy the weekend and stay on the Island, please check out www.bereisland.net if you prefer walking you can also try out our 5K walk which is suitable for everyone. Entry for the walk can also be taken on the day and special deals are available for families.
